Yesterday the Grand Opening of the 2015 St. Moritz Gourmet Festival took place at the Kempisnki Grand Hotel des Bains. Nine guest master chefs from England ensured a fabulous start of the gourmet week. At nine gourmet islands samples made by the chefs could be savoured and personal conversations could be held. The voluptuous prelude of the festival turned into a great party with live music. During the entire week Gourmet Diners and Safaris will take place with various highlights such as the unique Kitchen Party at the Badrutt’s Palace, the Dorchester Afternoon Tea at the Kronenhof Pontresina, the unique Corviglia Caviar & Seafood Blizzard at Mathis Corviglia and many more.

The culinary summit with nine guest master chefs from Great Britain promises an exceptionally top-notch and varied range of culinary experiences in the Upper Engadine. Claude Bosi from Restaurant Hibiscus (2 Michelin Stars), Chong Choi Fong from Restaurant China Tang at The Dorchester and Virgilio Martinez from Restaurant LIMA Fitzrovia (Restaurant of the Year by Food and Travel Magazine Reader Awards 2014) are just three of the prestigious names.
A must of this gourmet week is the attendance at the crowning event of the festival « The Great BMW Gourmet Finale » at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz into Buckingham Palace – definitely a « very british experience.
