Dubai offers a wide range of luxury hotels but one of the most spectacular places to stay for families and couples is definitely Jumeirah Zabeel Saray located on the western wing of the iconic Palm Jumeirah. The luxury beachside resort was opened in January 2011 and invites the visitor to discover something unique and surprising. The architects (Kursat Ayback Architectural) of the property were flown in from Turkey since the vision of the ruler was to create a truly spectacular palace which was reflecting the grandeur of the Ottoman Era. Every details inspires awe and delight. The interior of the resort features hand-painted finishings, Turkish artworks and stunning murals that conjure up images of the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire.
The hotel consists of 405 elegantly appointed guest rooms, including 42 decadent suites and 38 opulent Royal residences situated around a lagoon pool or facing the sea. This kind of accommodation boasts the ultimate luxury including private gym and butler service.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a destination of culinary excellence & unique nightlife venues. It boasts a diverse selection of restaurants and bars. The guest can experience six unique restaurants, a cocktail bar (Voda Bar) and a cigar lounge (C Club). Restaurants include Voi (Vietnamese), Al Nafoorah (Lebanese), Imperium (International), Lalezar (Turkish), Amala (Indian) and Plaj (Mediterranean). Recent additions to the mix include MusicHall (the famous Beirut dinner dance concept) and supperclub, a unique nightlife concept imported from Amsterdam which was only opened in June 2013 and has proven to be a great success among hotel guests and locals.
The hotel is home to the award winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East covering 8,000m² and boasting 42 individual treatment rooms and three Turkish hammams over two levels across the male, female and couples sections. Talise Ottoman Spa has launched The World’s Most Luxurious Spa Experience in association with Margy’s Monte Carlo. Costing AED 25,000 (Euro 5020), the treatment includes a gold chain mail mask facial designed exclusively for the resort, Rose and Argon Oil Massage, a hammam, a Milk Bath and premium champagne and caviar lunch – all within the exclusive surroundings of the mezzanine level of the spa that is reserved exclusively for the guest.
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray has been the proud recipient of a number of prestigious international awards since opening, including the World Travel Awards, Condé Nast Traveller Hot List Spa 2012 and BBC GoodFood Middle East Awards 2012. In 2013 the property has received the World Travel Awards for Leading Villa and Best Middle East Spa, the World Luxury Spa Awards for Best Luxury Resort Spa Global, a variety of Trip Advisor Awards and the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards Best Pan-Asian and Far East Restaurant (Voi). The General Manager of the hotel is Stephan Schupbach, of Swiss nationality who brings over 25 years’ experience in international hospitality management, having worked for a number of luxury hotel companies around the world.
