Merry Christmas – a bit more silent but wholehearty

The House Hotel Bosphorus is on the Condé Nast Traveller Gold List 2012. The editors wrote: “Built as a nineteenth-century residence by sultanate architect Simon Kalfa, the House Hotel Bosphorus is a less-expensive design-conscious alternative to such luxe neighbors as the Four Seasons, the Çiragan Kempinski, and Les Ottomans. Located right on the Bosphorus, with views of the Bosphorus Bridge and Ortaköy Mosque, it attracts a youthful business-oriented crowd dominated by Persol-wearing, iPad-toting men in black.”
